// How Detail Day works

No surprise billing. Ever.

If an add-on makes sense for your car, Ben will talk it through and confirm before he touches it. Your call, every time.

  1. 01

    Ben texts you, personally

Within an hour of booking, Ben sends you a text from his real number. He'll confirm your vehicle, your time, and answer any questions. Need to change something? Just reply.

  2. 02

    Day-of arrival

Ben pulls up 5–10 minutes early in the Duke's truck. He'll walk your vehicle with you, confirm your package, and flag anything unusual — like XL truck pricing or add-ons. Everything is quoted upfront before he starts.

  3. 03

He gets to work — you get your day back

Birdie takes about 45 minutes. Eagle about 90. Longhorn around 3 hours. You don't need to be home, you don't need to supervise, you don't need to move your car. Go work, walk the dog, take a nap, swim at Barton Springs. We've got it.

  4. 04

    Walk-around, payment, you're done

When Ben's finished, he'll do a final walk-around with you and hand you your Vehicle Health Report. You pay the balance plus any add-ons you agreed to up front — tap your card or phone right on his iPhone. No surprise line items, ever. Tip optional, never expected, always appreciated.

// Who you're trusting with your truck
Ben Ahrens, founder of Duke's Detailing

Ben Ahrens, founder

Ben grew up detailing cars and working golf courses. He spent years as a police officer and played collegiate baseball at Pitt State before starting Duke's. He's got an auto technology degree, an obsessive eye for finish quality, and a hard rule: if it's not right, he does it again — at no charge.

Duke and Beau, the Great Pyrenees brothers behind Duke's Detailing

Duke & Beau

Great Pyrenees brothers, born on a Texas farm and formerly employed guarding goats. Duke is the reason there's a Duke's — now in charge of nap supervision. Beau, his slightly more enthusiastic brother, is honorary co-founder and the company's official greeter.

// A few things before Detail Day

All optional.

None required.

Empty the cabin (if you can)

Loose items — receipts, kid stuff, gym bags — make the interior detail faster and better. If you forget, Ben works around it. No big deal.

Park where there's a little space

Ben needs about a 13×26 ft area to work comfortably — roughly two parking spaces. Driveway, street, garage, lot — all fine. Reply to Ben's text if you're not sure.

Water + power are nice, not necessary

Ben brings everything — tanks, generators, supplies. If you've got a hose and an outlet, great. If not, it doesn't change a thing.
